Ajowan

In Ayurveda, it is considered a strong cleanser. Since ancient times, it has been used to treat many disorders. Ir is rich in natural plant chemicals called polyphenols, which include saponins, glycosides, flavonoids and phenols. It is also rich in vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin B. It is extremely beneficial for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as for lightening acne scars and pimples. Gives soft and radiant skin. The thymol and carvacrol help fight the growth of bacteria and fungi. Removes itching and reduces inflammation.

Apricot Kernel

In Ayurveda, the use of this oil is known to help slow the onset of aging. Thanks to vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium, minerals and healthy fats, it keeps the skin soft and hydrated and can even help control irregular skin conditions.

Ashwagandha

In traditional Ayurvedic medicine, it's used to promote your physical and mental health, to defend your body against disease and damaging environmental factors, and to slow down the aging process. It is known to be vata pacifying. In India, it has been used as a broad-spectrum remedy for centuries, but more recently scientists have proven that the herb possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that play a major role in many of its benefits.  It is deeply penetrating, nourishing the bones, muscles and tissues. It has a carminative effect on the nervous system promoting relaxation whilst also toning and strengthening the nerves.

Babassu

It is packed with antioxidants and healthy fatty acids that improve skin health by moisturizing it without causing a greasy feeling or developing acne. High compounds of vitamin A, vitamin C, as well as iron and calcium. These are compounds that can help reduce cellular damage caused by harmful free radicals. It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and can promote wound healing. Lauric acid and myristic acid are anti-inflammatory, potentially immune-boosting, and very hydrating. 

Bael

The anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties are a natural and mild astringent for the skin. This amazing fruit imbued with all these effective properties works on an imbalanced pitta dosha and soothes swollen skin. It is a rich source of vitamin C, riboflavin, vitamin A, thiamine, potassium, calcium, niacin and phosphorus. It is used to treat facial skin-related problems and tightening of the skin, moisturizing.

Basil

It has anti-inflammatory benefits and may be effective at reducing acne, irritation and other skin irritations. It also contains anti-fungal and antibacterial qualities that can brighten and refresh dull skin. Provides antimicrobial protection. Calms inflammation and swelling. It also aids in unclogging the pores and eliminates excess sebum, dirt, and impurities from the skin. It boosts skin cell elasticity and metabolism.

Black Cumin

It is loaded with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help plump fine lines, fight acne, unclog pores, and fade dark spots. It has powerful healing properties, controlling oil, blemishes, redness and calm irritation. It is packed with antioxidants, vitamins A, B and C and minerals. Helps the skin retain moisture, maintain elasticity and fight harmful free radicals that age faster. It has large amounts of fatty acids, which reduces signs of aging and sun damage. Promotes skin repair and regeneration, thus facilitating a smoother, clearer and brighter complexion.

Blood Orange

Rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and mineral micro-nutrients like zinc, that combat free radicals in the body, preventing premature aging and promoting youthful skin. Very effective in maintaining the natural collagen levels in your skin. It has the ability to soften and maintain the health, appearance and texture of the skin by promoting clarity, radiance and softness. Thereby reducing signs of acne and other uncomfortable skin conditions. Helps relieve feelings of fatigue, rejuvenating the senses and providing a natural energy boost. It has natural antibacterial properties that make it effective against certain strains of bacteria. 

Blue Lotus

In Ayurveda, it is a wonderful meditation aid, opening Chakras and dispelling negative emotions and thoughts, aiding one on their spiritual path. In addition to helping reduce minor pain and inflammation, it supports overall skin health and assists in helping with wound management and support for healing scars.

Brahmi 

In Ayurveda, it is considered to have brilliant pitta-pacifying properties that lighten blemishes and dark spots on the face. The presence of ascorbic acid helps in improving the overall complexion of the skin. Helps with collagen and thus prolongs the youth and glow of your skin. It is used in Ayurveda to treat a variety of inflammatory skin conditions. Used to treat 'yuvana pidakas' or acne conditions, it is also useful in lightening the appearance of acne marks and healing acne scars on the face.

The 'Kandughna' (itch relief) properties make it a frequently used Ayurvedic remedy for itching and skin allergies. Its refreshing nature calms your skin. Therefore, it is widely used as an ingredient for sensitive skin. It soothes vata dosha and helps prevent dry skin. Its cellular repair capabilities help rebuild the damaged skin barrier.

Calendula

It has numerous benefits in addressing skin concerns, including acne and irritation. It soothes inflammation and irritation. The petals are rich in naturally occurring compounds called flavonoids. It is highly beneficial for skin care and care for problematic skin concerns. In Ayurveda, it is considered cooling in nature and thus balancing for Pitta as well as Kapha Doshas.

Caraway

It helps to make the skin clear, helps remove acne and fight against infection of the skin. It has the power of regeneration of tissues and relieving inflammation. As it is both astringent and cleansing, it is helpful in addressing mature skin and in balancing dry or oily skin types.

Cherry Kernel

Rich in vitamins A and E, as well as a balanced composition of essential fatty acids. It increases collagen production while offering soothing and protective properties, especially for irritated and sunburned skin. It contains phytosterols, which have anti-inflammatory properties that can help in the treatment of skin conditions. It is an effective emollient and is ideal for dry, dry, itchy, mature and problematic skin. The carotenoids and flavonoids in the oil help tighten and regenerate protein fibers that help protect skin and hair from UV damage. 

Cinnamon Leaf

It has anti-inflammatory properties beneficial in fighting acne, pimples and other skin infections. Ayurveda defines that regular use of this herb helps increase the production of collagen and elastin, thus treating the signs of aging, achieving luminous and healthy skin. Rich in manganese, iron, and calcium. It also contains traces of vitamins B and K, antioxidants, beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, betacryptoxanthin, lycopene, lutein and zeaxanthin. These antioxidants can reduce oxidative stress. Helps smooth skin texture and remove dead cells, so your complexion looks brighter and more even in tone.

Clementine

Rich in vitamin C, which helps firm and even the appearance of the skin. It also provides antioxidant protection. Loaded with citric acid, which helps remove dirt, oil, and impurities associated with oily skin. It has powerful antioxidants like flavonoids known as "anthocyanins" that help reduce the effects of environmental stressors. Provides a unique and uplifting scent that helps improve your mood.

Frankincense

It has strong anti-inflammatory properties due to its terpene content and can also serve as a fantastic antibacterial due to its boswellic acid. It has astringent qualities, anti-aging properties and can improve skin tone and elasticity, promoting overall skin health. Fights imperfections due to its borneol content. Its levels of pinene make it a great antioxidant. It reduces itching, swelling and redness. Encourages emotional healing, support reflection, and introspection, and brings peace and calm, especially during meditation.

Geranium

Rich in vitamin A, known for its anti-aging power, promotes cell regeneration and promotes a smoother texture. Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, protects the skin from oxidative stress and helps combat the signs of aging and sensitivity. It helps with oily or congested skin due to its astringent and antioxidant qualities, derived from its levels of linalool and other terpenes. It balances the skin's natural sebum production and unblocks pores. This plant generally calms exacerbation of the three Doshas. Reduces discomfort and itching caused by allergies. Enhances the natural glow of the skin. 

Grape

Due to high levels of Omega-6 Linoleic Fatty Acid, which contributes to the formation of ceramides on the skin's surface, it has excellent moisturizing properties and acts as an occlusive to seal in water and prevent moisture loss (also called Trans-Epidermal Water Loss). Thanks to its vitamin E and linoleic acid content, it lightens skin discolorations like acne scars and sunspots.  Help speed up the healing process. By protecting the skin from free radicals and UV radiation, it slows down the aging process. In Ayurveda, it is said that it helps pacify kapha and vata, and enhances pitta dosha.

Grapefruit

Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, making it an excellent source to fight free radicals. Helps calm inflammation, promotes collagen production, and increases cell renewal to unclog pores. The enzyme bromelain helps to gently exfoliate the skin and balance its pH. It has anti-aging properties and helps tighten, firm, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Improve and uplift your mood, promotes positive energy and is a welcome comfort when dealing with tension and situational depression.

Hazelnut

A rich source of vitamin E and other phytochemicals, these antioxidants help protect the skin by combating oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Regular use helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and minimize the signs of aging. In addition to its moisturizing qualities, it is packed full of tannins, powerful antioxidants that also act as astringents.

Hibiscus

Rich in vitamin A and vitamin C. The anti-inflammatory activity of beta-carotene helps reduce inflammatory skin disorders while soothing itching and redness. Promotes the production of a protein that stimulates cell regeneration and accelerates healing. Stimulates collagen production. It has high amounts of antioxidants to help skin cells recover from damage caused by pollutants and UV rays. Improves and evens out the skin tone. It has malic acid, alpha hydroxy acids and citric acids that work to renew the complexion. It has powerful moisturizing properties that make the skin texture soft and smooth, retaining moisture in the skin tissue for longer.

Himalayan Cedarwood

Emotionally and energetically, it is very grounding and calming, promoting mental focus. Helps support an overtaxed nervous system and is incredibly stabilizing during stressful transitions. Regulates sebum production, eliminating acne-causing bacteria and exhibiting a protective astringent property. It is known to protect the skin against environmental pollutants and toxins, thus helping to prevent or reduce the chances of future breakouts.

Indian Redwood 

It is composed of a complex mixture of chemical compounds including vitamin C, tannins, flavonoids, and other polyphenolic compounds. It possesses a variety of biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. It has cooling and soothing properties.

Java Fig 

Helps with irritated skin conditions. It contains nutrients that support collagen synthesis, such as vitamin C and amino acids. Helping maintain and boost collagen levels, resulting in firmer, more youthful-looking skin. Along with being an antioxidant, it has been shown to enhance the skin's hydration by preventing water loss from the skin's uppermost layers. It can also visibly improve skin color by addressing an enzyme in the skin (tyrosinase) whose overproduction can lead to dark spots.

Karanja

It has been used in ancient Ayurvedic traditions, as it is said to have antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. It was used to relieve skin ailments and irritations due to its highly soothing, nourishing effect on redness and pimples. Rich in flavonoids, known for their antioxidant and UV blocking capabilities. It has intensive balancing and regulating properties, making it ideal for treating and calming acne and imbalanced skin. Promotes collagen production while ensuring a firmer complexion and amplifies elasticity.

Kiwi

It is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium, magnesium, omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, especially Acid Alpha Linolenic. It has wonderful moisturizing, rejuvenating and UV protection properties. Linoleic acid may act as a natural moisturizer, helping to lock in hydration and prevent water loss from the skin. It contributes to collagen production, leading to a healthier, more youthful complexion. 
 

Licorice

It works by inhibiting the production of melanin. This can help to lighten skin spots and even out your overall skin tone. It is an anti-inflammatory and can help to reduce redness and swelling associated with post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. It helps smooth, firm, and tighten the skin, as it triggers the production of elastin and collagen. The amino acids present in the root also aid in hydrating the skin further, which leaves you with a plump and youthful complexion.

Macadamia

It contains squalene and oleic acid that assist with cell regeneration, making this oil particularly useful for dry or chapped skin as it softens and moisturizes. It is one of the highest sources of Palmitoleic Fatty Acids, a monounsaturated fatty acid found in the sebum of skin. Additionally, its anti-inflammatory properties interfere with the development and growth of acne on the face.

Mahua

Due to the richness of emollients like oleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid, this herb deeply hydrates the skin and prevents drying. This helps fight against the cracking of the skin in cold weather and keeps it glossy, warm, and well moisturized. It is known to boost the skin's luster and natural radiance while reducing the appearance of dark spots. Boosts skin elasticity as well as its suppleness, thereby reducing the appearance of fine lines and tightening skin for a firmer appearance.

Manjistha

Helps to lower melanin levels by inhibiting tyrosinase, the enzyme that controls the production of melanin. It possesses potent skin-brightening properties that can help reduce the appearance of dark spots, blemishes, and pigmentation irregularities. It is very effective against acne-causing bacteria, or pimple outbreaks. It has antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Ayurveda acknowledges this herb as a well-known one-step remedy for various skin conditions. Owing to its blood purifying properties, which help in removing toxins from the blood, it helps in treating a host of skin infections as well.

Milk Thistle

 It has the power to protect against harmful sun exposure and slow the aging process of the skin. It has strong antioxidant and anti-aging properties. It is an excellent source of Silymarin, a complex of bioactive compounds of flavonolignans, including Silibinin, Silidianin, and Silicristin that are known for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Myrrh

Possess valuable therapeutic and skincare properties still widely used in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine today. It is often used during meditation to create a relaxing and uplifting atmosphere. It is used to treat wounds, reduce inflammation and protect against bacteria and infections. Helps maintain healthy skin by nourishing and providing hydration for a smoother-looking complexion. Helps with unwanted blemishes, relieves itching. It has skin-healing properties.

Neem

Affectionately referred to as the village pharmacy, it is a key herb used in Ayurvedic and Unani medicine. It contains plant compounds called flavonoids and polyphenols. These have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties, creating a natural barrier against bacteria and fungi, helping to prevent and treat skin conditions such as acne and fungal infections. It can soothe irritated skin and its moisturizing benefits ensure your skin stays soft and hydrated. The detoxifying effects reflect clearer, healthier skin.  Helps increase skin elasticity, prevent wrinkles and premature aging, revitalizes dull or mature skin, treats dry, chapped and cracked skin and soothes minor irritations. It is an effective emollient, which prevents loss of moisture and helps build a protective layer over the skin.

Palmarosa

The skin appears rejuvenate, radiant skin, supple and stronger. It is known for its ability to hydrate and balance the skin. This dual action promotes a healthy, vibrant and balanced complexion. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine to help reduce emotional stress and for comforting and relaxing emotions. Its stimulating properties can help us move past feelings of insecurity, grief or defensiveness. 

Passion Fruit

Rich in essential fatty acids, minerals, carotenoids, and vitamin A, which provide antioxidant protection, reduce inflammation, and hydrate the skin. Helps maintain and repair the skin's natural barrier, providing the necessary hydration, in addition to fighting free radicals and increasing collagen production. The antioxidants, vitamin C, and other nutrients can improve skin firmness, glow, reduce sensitivity, and help fade melasma.

Patchouli 

It is effective for skin that lacks tone, for addressing wrinkled, aging skin, and for conditions of acne, irritation, dryness, and other skin issues due to its anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial properties. Emotionally and energetically, it is used to relieve situational depression, anxiety, stress, calm nerves. It can open the mind and heart, heightening the senses.

Peach Kernel

It has anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce the appearance of puffiness, dark spots, under-eye circles and wrinkles. Helps to strengthen the skin's immune system. It is full of omega oils 3, 6 and 9. With generous quantities of both Oleic and Linoleic fatty acids together with Vitamins A and E, it contributes to the skin's natural regenerative processes. Helps the skin maintain its moisture balance, and contributes to the toning and firming of the skin. It is a great oil to keep the skin youthful with many anti-ageing benefits.

Pistachio

Helps manage skin hyper-pigmentation as it reduces melanin production. As per Ayurveda, it can also be applied on the skin to help prevent sunburn due to its Ropan (healing) nature. It is rich in vitamins and minerals, a great source of vitamin E, fatty acids, and lutein; all of which provide essential antioxidant protection and have anti-aging properties for the skin. Assists in maintaining skin elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and promoting a more youthful complexion.

Pomelo

Along with helping to reduce the presence of unwanted microbial activity, it helps ease unwelcome muscle spasms as well as helps support healthy lung and airway function. It can help soothe sore muscles and calm agitation. It also enhances smooth, clear skin, and is employed to help reduce areas of the skin that have scars. It has a reviving, uplifting aroma, considered especially beneficial due to its ability to ease tension from daily stress. Promoting deep, restful sleep, it helps calm emotional distress.

Rose

 It is well-known for its skin care benefits as well as for helping to balance the endocrine system. It is also known for supporting energetically and emotional well-being. It is both invigorating yet calming. Along with having antimicrobial and astringent properties, helps retains moisture, making it perfect for healing dry, mature and aging skin. It has the ability to help cool sunburn. It has an affinity with the heart and the emotional spheres of the mind, body, and spirit.

Rose Geranium

Considered a moist ingredient by Ayurveda, it generally calms exacerbations of all three Doshas. It is very beneficial for sensitive skin, as it reduces scars and provides healing properties. It also helps oily or congested skin due to its astringent and antioxidant qualities, derived from its levels of linalool and other terpenes. It balances the skin's natural sebum production and unblocks pores. Minimizes the appearance of wrinkles, enlarged pores and delays the effects of aging. It has soothing, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Rosewood

Powerfully regenerates tissue, softens and firms the epidermis, wrinkles, acne and skin conditions. It is known for its beneficial properties to even the skin tone and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is also known for its moisturizing and soothing effects. It is an excellent lymphatic tonic. Rich in linalool, it has antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral properties, and strengthens immune defenses. It helps to relax the mind, clear out the backlog in our thoughts and lower anxiety.

Safflower

Enhances skin's texture, tone, overall appearance, and quality. It effectively eliminates whiteheads, blackheads, and ultimately acne. Helps reduces signs of blemishes while preventing future breakouts. It has a high content of vitamin E, vitamin K, and also omega-6 fatty acids. Because of its antioxidant properties, it has many benefits for the skin to help reverse the damage done by free radicals. This includes rough skin, age spots, and skin irritations.

Saffron

It is a natural anti-aging remedy, rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E and crocin. It is well known to have skin brightening and healing properties and can help cure marks, even out skin texture and lighten the skin complexion, giving the skin a golden glow. It is also an excellent moisturizer and skin conditioner. Known for its anti-inflammatory, skin protective and antioxidant properties, it is useful for both preventative and for healing already damaged skin. It is excellent for soothing irritation and swelling from hot conditions, including rashes. Its regular application can lighten hyper-pigmentation and age spots, improving skin texture and radiance.

Sesame

The significant levels of zinc found in sesame explain its role in contributing to better skin when applied topically. Zinc has been shown to absorb well into deep levels of the skin, while decreasing inflammation and bacterial growth of wounds. It is packed with nutritional components. It contains natural antioxidants like vitamin E, vitamin K, sesamin, sesamolin, omega-3 fatty acids and lecithin.

Star Anise

It has exfoliating, anti-acne, skin whitening and moisturizing effects which can be useful in treating skin problems. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and anti-fungal properties. Helps the skin to stay hydrated and to increase collagen production. It contains high levels of iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, potassium, vitamin A and vitamin C.

Sunflower

The vitamin E has antioxidants that help with premature aging and wrinkles, keeping your skin looking young and fresh. It also contains linoleic acid, which helps your skin retain moisture, so it becomes less dry. It contains omega-6 and omega-9, linoleic acid and oleic acid, contributing to tissue and cell strength.

Sweet Almond

Ayurveda describes many uses for the skin due to its high level of vitamin E, helping reverse sun damage caused by UV exposure. Reduces the appearance of scars. Improves skin nutrition and condition due to its content of oleic acid, linoleic acid, vitamin B and zinc. Helps calm and revitalize the skin, improving its tone by offering moisturizing, nourishing and soothing properties. Increases elasticity and potentially reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

Sweet Marjoram 

It's a natural antiseptic that helps prevent infections, helpful in reducing the presence of unwanted bacteria, fungus, treating acne, and lightening dark skin areas. It's also great to use when needing support during a minor allergic reaction. It has a relaxing aroma and a soothing, invigorating effect on the skin. From a topical standpoint, it is highly effective at treating sagging skin, acne, and fine lines, but it also has profound effects on soreness, pain, and muscle fatigue.

Sweet Orange

It holds large amounts of vitamin C and potassium. Helps fight signs of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines, acne and reduces the appearance of scars and blemishes. Protects from environmental damage, improves the appearance of enlarged pores, reduces inflammation, improves luminosity, and improves blood circulation on the skin. It has restorative properties. Restores shine by removing dead skin cells. It also has the ability to cleanse your skin, helping to maintain the skin's pH balance and thus keep it away from dirt and pollution.

Vetiver 

In Ayurveda, its a Kapha and Pitta balancing herb. This makes it ideal for the skin that is sensitive and prone to acne and inflammation. Its cooling property improves the appearance of large pores, tending towards oiliness. It improves skin hydration with the ability to replenish essential moisture in dehydrated and damaged skin. It is extremely healing for the body and the mind. It brightens the skin tone. Apart from its anti-inflammatory benefits, it helps to relieve skin irritations and redness and treat skin burns. 

Vitamin E

It is soothing and moisturizing, high in d-alpha-tocopherol, a powerful antioxidant which helps in neutralizing free radicals, moisturizing skin, and improving the appearance of visible skin aging. By absorbing the energy from UV rays and providing photo-protection, preventing UV-induced free radical damage.
